This privacy policy explains how wiredtogrow.netlify.app collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through our contact form. We have written it in plain language because that is the spirit of this site.

Who we are

What information we collect

We collect only what you choose to provide through the contact form:

• Full name
• Work email address
• Organisation name
• Your role (optional)
• Your reason for interest (optional)
• Any message you choose to include (optional)

We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not collect IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or behavioural data.

The interactive model gate uses your browser's localStorage to remember that you have submitted the form. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Why we collect it

We collect contact information for two purposes only:

• To verify that the person accessing the interactive model is a real person with a genuine interest in the thesis
• To follow up if there is a substantive reason to continue the conversation — for example, if you are a potential funder, researcher, or implementation partner

We will not contact you for unsolicited marketing, newsletters, or any purpose unrelated to this thesis.

How we store your data

Form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms, a service provided by Netlify Inc. (San Francisco, CA). Netlify stores form submissions on servers in the United States and is subject to standard US data protection practices. You can read Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

We do not transfer your data to any other third party. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.

How long we keep your data

We retain contact form submissions for no longer than 24 months. After that period, or at any time on your request, we will delete your data from Netlify Forms.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information at any time
• Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal)

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you check the consent box and submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

Children's data

This site is intended for professionals and researchers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively change how we use data you have already submitted without seeking your consent again.
